July already… July 2, 2008

I can’t believe that it is July already!!! It seems like this summer is going by incredibly fast & I don’t know if I’m happy or sad about it… I’m ready for college to start but then again I don’t want winter to come any sooner than it has to! I can’t stand the cold! Heat in the 100s is what I’m most comfortable in!

As an update since my last post…

I’ve just been chilling a lot around my house with pals watching movies or rocking out on Rock Band! Recently my group of friends reached out & broadened our circle by including a kid named Tyler. He’s pretty cool & picked up on our strange sense of humor rather quickly which leaves me thinking why didn’t we initiate him sooner? Who knows but timing is everything I guess… To end June with a bang, we (me, my mom, Tessa, Weston, Nicki, Zack, Javan, Sandy, Tyler, Linda, Winston) hit up the drive in! We saw Get Smart & What Happens In Vegas, both of which I’ve already seen so the movie viewing turned into chatting with my pals while eating terribly calorie filled movie treats! I had a great time That night Nicki slept over so I had the pleasure of entertaining her the next day. We didn’t do much of anything except sleep and then she came to work with me at 4. It was a pretty chill day…

My mom is freaking out with cleaning our house right now because my graduation party is coming up on the 12th and she feels as though everything needs to be spotless or replaced! She’s such a clean freak but our parties are always amazing so I put up with her OCD the weeks prior to each party. Everyday its a new chore for me like cleaning out the cupboards or the closets (Whoever is looking in those shouldn’t be invited to my party anyway). It’ll all pay off in the end. I have to keep reminding myself of that
