It’s all about me!

My exciting weekend!! October 28, 2008

This weekend, I had a great time attending two store parties. On Thursday night, Velvet Boutique held a Botox and Bling Party for its loyal customers and the following night was filled with Brass Heart’s cocktail party. At both of the parties, I was able to find something cute to buy and I had a lot of fun. At Velvet, I purchased an adorable red jacket and at Brass Heart, I bought my favorite necklace ever! It is a mock up of the blue necklace that Serena and Serena’s mom wore on Gossip Girl! Here’s some pictures of me and my crew!!

This is everyone from Brass Heart! Sarah and Kim even jumped in!

Me, Nicole and Tessa loved the party!

This is all of us at the Velvet Party!

On Saturday, we (Nicole, Tessa, Shelby, Weston, Zack, Mike and me) all went to see the Coyotes play the Flames! Before the game, Megan joined us and we ate at Carraba’s which has some amazing spagetti btw. Then Megan retired to my house to hang out with mom and the rest of us headed to the Glendale Arena! The flaming flamers won and we lost but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have fun! My sister and I both share a love of the floating taco and zambonis and danced everytime the “Stand Up and Make Noise” message ran on the jumbotron! When the couple/kissing camera came on, we laughed at all the couples kissing akwardly and then almost died when the camera zoomed in on two of the Flames players sitting on the bench!

All in all, the weekend was relaxing and fun!

~ Till next Tana Time, enjoy life! I know I will! ~

Alien Ant Farm! June 25, 2008

Filed under: Fun Outings — trichmond @ 7:50 pm

Every third Thursday of the month, Tempe Marketplace puts on a free concert and this month they showcased Alien Ant Farm.

I thought it would be fun to go to so I got a group together to go! We were all pretty hungry when we got there and none of us knew any songs by the band except their cover of MJ’s Smooth Criminal so we decided to just hit up a restaurant.

It was some stir fry place similar to YC’s but it wasn’t as good… Pretty much everyone I went with made their food way too spicy! Troy turned all red and was sweating pretty heavily! From what we could hear, people were having fun at the concert :) As we were headed to get some ice cream, we heard Smooth Criminal in the distance so we got to hear what we came for! After the concert, we went to Troy’s and just chilled. It was pretty funny and I won’t forget what you said Tyson! RUDE…

The HULK!!! June 16, 2008

Filed under: Fun Outings — trichmond @ 9:03 pm

On opening morning at midnight, I went and saw the new HULK movie! It was super good! The overall story and feel of the film was not as good as Iron Man (I loved that movie!) but the fight scenes were outstandingly mind blowing! Everything was incredibly realistic and intense. This HULK topped the old hulk by a million points! No offense to Eric Bana and Jennifer Connelly but Edward Norton and Liv Tyler played a much more convincing Bruce Banner and Betty Ross and William Hurt made an insanly cruel General Ross. The film even set up (SPOILER ALERT) an amazing intro for the new Avengers movie set to debut in 2011! Tony Stark (the one and only Iron Man) appears at the end of the film to introduce ”a group” that is being put together to General Ross. I know what I’m going to be doing on an undisclosed midnight in 2011!!!

THE HULK ***** (FIVE STARS BABY!)

Kenny Chesney!!! June 2, 2008

Filed under: Fun Outings — trichmond @ 9:39 pm

On Saturday, I went and saw Kenny Chesney’s Poets and Pirates tour at the University of Phoenix stadium! He was an amazing performer! He came up out of the stage to begin his first song and later, he gave a guitar to a young kid! We got there at four just in time to see Gary Allen. It was too bad that Leann Rimes couldn’t sing because of her illness but they filled her spot with an interesting cover band… I won’t go into that much. (That’s how bad they were…) Up next was Keith Urban. I’ve never really liked him too much but he put on a good show. Kenny definitely was a sight! He did so great and the lighting was insane! My favorite song was definitely Shift Work and then Big Star!

His stage was huge and it had to T’s coming out of the front so he could get involved with the people more!

This is me and my pal Anneliese!

Tessa loves the country music!!! lol
